I Have to Admit I am Way Out of Touch...

Okay, I think for the first year ever, Oscar night passed in my house without any knowledge it was occuring! How is it possible that I had no clue it was Oscar night until sometime today when people began to ask me if I had watched them??? I am truly out of touch with popular culture. I have no clue who was nominated and I have a feeling I never even watched any of the nominated films. Should I be admitting this?
